Appropriation and Funding
- Initial funding for the hospital's establishment will be charged against the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent funds necessary for the operation and maintenance of the hospital will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Pre-Construction Requirements and Government Commitment
- Prior to the construction of the hospital, the Secretary of Health must provide a written assurance.
- This assurance must confirm the appointment of hospital personnel.
- It must also confirm that funds for the maintenance and operation of the hospital have been appropriated.
Effectivity of the Act
- The provisions of the Act take effect immediately upon its approval by the President of the Philippines.
