Management and Development Planning
- The City Government of Meycauayan is tasked with managing the hospital.
- A hospital development plan must be prepared, which aligns with the Philippine Health Facility Development Plan.
- The development plan must be created in consultation with the Department of Health (DOH).
- Future expansions such as increased bed capacity, healthcare facilities, service capabilities, and human resources will depend on this development plan.
Funding and Financial Support
- The City Government of Meycauayan is responsible for providing necessary funds for the establishment of the hospital.
- The Secretary of the DOH is mandated to include the hospital’s capital outlay requirements in the Department’s subsidy program to support funding.
Severability Clause
- If any provision or part of the Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts not affected will continue to be in full force and effect.
Modification of Inconsistent Laws
- Any laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are modified accordingly to conform with the provisions of this law.
Effectivity
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
