  • The cities included in Region IV-A are Antipolo City, Batangas City, Calamba City, Cavite City, Lipa City, Lucena City, San Pablo City, Tagaytay City, Tanauan City, and Trece Martires City.

Composition and Naming of Region IV-B (MIMAROPA)

  • Named MIMAROPA, Region IV-B consists of the provinces of Marinduque, Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Palawan, and Romblon.
  • The cities included in Region IV-B are Calapan City and Puerto Princesa City.

Transfer of the Province of Aurora to Region III

  • The Province of Aurora is officially transferred from Region IV and becomes part of Region III.

Supervisory Role of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)
