Article X, Section 4 of the Philippine Constitution.

Region IV-A is named CALABARZON and Region IV-B is named MIMAROPA.

The provinces are Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, and Rizal.

The cities are Antipolo City, Batangas City, Calamba City, Cavite City, Lipa City, Lucena City, San Pablo City, Tagaytay City, Tanauan City, and Trece Martires City.

Marinduque, Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Palawan, and Romblon.

Calapan City and Puerto Princesa City.

The Province of Aurora was transferred to Region III.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

It took effect immediately upon approval on May 17, 2002.

They are repealed or modified accordingly to be consistent with this Executive Order.
