  • Maximum vessel speed in this area limited to 6 knots

Clearance Requirements for Vessels

  • Clearance to be obtained from the PPA Terminal Management Office based in Lamao, Limay, Bataan

Fishing Prohibitions

  • Fishing banned within 3 nautical miles from shorelines between Cabcaben Point and Quitang Point in Limay

  • Provisions of PPA MC No. 11-96 regarding anchorage grounds at PMO baseports apply
  • All concerned parties must adhere to relevant provisions

  • Copies furnished to key stakeholders including:
    • Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard
    • Director, Coast & Geodetic Survey, NAMRIA
    • Presidents of United Harbor Pilots' Association, Domestic Shipowners' Association, and Philippine Interisland Shipowners Association
    • All Philippine Ports Authority Port District Offices and Port Management Offices

Repealing Clause

  • All prior PPA orders, regulations, circulars, and memoranda inconsistent with this order are repealed or modified

  • Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on July 7, 1997
