Deputized Agencies and Officials
- Deputized agencies include:
- Department of Education (DepEd)
- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
- Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)
- National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM)
- Philippine National Police (PNP)
- Deputation extends to their secretaries, chairmen, chiefs, and all officers and personnel under them within the Province of Agusan del Norte.
Purpose and Scope of Deputation
- Deputized bodies and officials are tasked with ensuring the plebiscite is:
- Free
- Orderly
- Honest
- Peaceful
- Credible
- The scope includes all activities connected to the conduct of the July 28, 2007 plebiscite.
Coordination and Cooperation Directive
- National and local officials, law enforcement agencies, and other government instrumentalities are directed to coordinate and cooperate with COMELEC.
- This cooperation involves performing their respective duties and functions effectively during the plebiscite.
Effectivity of Memorandum Order
- The Memorandum Order is effective immediately upon signing.
- Signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in Manila on August 9, 2007.
- The Executive Secretary attests to the order.
