Registration Requirements

  • Feeds and feed-related products classified under RA 1556 must be registered in accordance with the Livestock and Poultry Feeds Act.
  • Products classified as VDAP must be registered following the provisions of RA 3720, also known as the Food, Drugs, Devices, and Cosmetics Act.

Fees and Inspection Charges

  • An inspection fee of sixty centavos (P0.60) per metric ton applies to all feeds, feed ingredients, specialty feeds, and special nutrient preparation feeds, whether locally manufactured or imported for trading purposes.
  • Feed supplements and additives, whether locally manufactured or imported for trading, are charged an inspection fee of twenty-five centavos (P0.25) per kilo.
  • VDAP and feed products intended for own consumption or raw materials used solely for manufacturing purposes are exempt from these inspection fees.
