Corporate Existence and Qualification of Officials
- The Municipality of San Pascual will gain corporate existence only upon the qualification of its first set of elected officials.
- These officials include the mayor, vice mayor, and councilors.
- The qualification and election of these officials are set to occur during the next scheduled general local elections in November 1971.
Apportionment of Indebtedness
- The current indebtedness of the Municipality of Bauan to any lending institution, including any new debts incurred due to the creation of San Pascual, shall be shared between Bauan and San Pascual.
- This sharing will be proportionate based on the territorial areas of the two municipalities.
- Both municipalities will be independently liable for the payment of their respective shares of the debt.
Jurisdiction Over Specific Areas
- The Roman Catholic Cemetery and the municipal cemetery shall remain under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Bauan despite the territorial separation.
- Specific areas designated for the municipal water system infrastructure are retained by Bauan:
- The one-half hectare area housing the pumping station.
- The one-half hectare area designated for the water reservoir.
Effectivity of the Act
- The provisions of this Act take effect immediately upon its approval.
- Approval date is August 4, 1969.
