Twenty-five (25) barrios were separated. The law states: “Twenty-five of sixty barrios, namely…” indicating Bauan had sixty barrios and 25 were chosen for the new municipality.
Examples include San Pascual, Danglayan, San Antonio, Laurel, Bayanan (others listed are also San Mateo, Banaba, Natunuan South, Natunuan North, Kaing-in, Santo Nino, Sambat, Palsahingin, Alalum, Sta. Elena, Del Pilar, Malaking Pook, Pil, San Mariano, Pook ni Banal, Pook ng Kapitan, Mataas-na-Lupa, Ilat, Gelerang Cawayan, and Resplandor).
It shall be in the present site of the barrio of San Pascual.
Upon the qualification of the first mayor, vice mayor, and councilors, who shall be elected in the next general elections for local officials in November 1971.
