Election and Organization of Local Government

  • Upon plebiscite approval, the first local officials (mayor, vice mayor, members of the Sangguniang Bayan) shall be elected during the next scheduled regular election.
  • The municipality is deemed duly organized upon the assumption of office by these elected officials.

Repeal and Amendment of Conflicting Laws

  • All existing laws, decrees, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this creation are repealed or amended accordingly.

Effectivity and Publication

  • The Act becomes effective upon its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation.
