Creation of the Municipality of Bumbaran (Section 1)
- Barangays listed from the Municipality of Wao in Lanao del Sur are segregated to form the new Municipality of Bumbaran.
- Clear geographical boundaries defined by natural features and boundary lines with neighboring provinces and municipalities.
Seat of Government (Section 2)
- Barangay Aparport designated as the seat of government of the Municipality of Bumbaran.
Initial Governance and Appointment of Officials (Section 3)
- Existing elective officials of Wao to continue performing their duties in the new municipality until new officials are appointed and elected.
- Presidential appointment of initial officials, with tenure until successors qualified following elections.
- Other necessary officials and employees to be appointed according to existing laws.
Transition of Assets, Liabilities, and Properties (Section 4 & 5)
- The Municipality of Bumbaran to receive a corresponding share of obligations, funds, deposits, and properties from Wao, as recommended by the Commission on Audit and transferred by the President.
- Titles to properties, powers, rights, and obligations vested according to territorial jurisdiction between the two municipalities.
Legal Adjustments (Section 6)
- Repeal, amendment, or modification of laws, decrees, executive orders, ordinances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Decree.
Effectivity (Section 7)
- Decree to take effect immediately upon issuance.
