Secretariat Organization - Sections 5 and 7

  • Secretariat headed by an Executive Director.
  • Personnel detailed from various government agencies.
  • Executive Director manages daily operations, coordinates agency activities, liaises with NGOs and international agencies.
  • Conducts disaster mitigation studies, works on hazard mapping, monitors project implementation.
  • Reports to B CARE C at least monthly.

Assistance from Other Government Entities - Section 6

  • All government departments and agencies required to cooperate and provide necessary data and assistance.

Reportorial Requirements - Section 8

  • Quarterly reports to Congressional oversight committee.
