Formation and Composition of the NB-RDC Technical Board

  • A Technical Board is created to provide technical support to the NB-RDC.
  • Composition:
    • Chairman: NEDA Deputy Director-General for Regional Development.
    • Three NEDA Regional Directors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
    • Representatives from NB-RDC member agencies.
    • Four regional development experts from the private sector and academe.

Financial Provisions

  • Initial funding for the Executive Order’s implementation will be sourced from the NEDA budget.
  • Subsequent funding to be included in the General Appropriations Act annually.

Implementing Authority

  • The NEDA Director-General is empowered to issue implementing rules, regulations, and other issuances to ensure effective enforcement of the Executive Order.

Repeal and Effectivity

  • Any prior issuances inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly.
  • The Executive Order takes immediate effect upon signing.
