Territorial boundaries
- Section 2 defines the territorial boundaries of the Municipality of President Manuel A. Roxas using geographic points and lines that trace:
- from the mouth of Minang Creek, upstream along Minang Creek to the point that intersects latitude 8A 30';
- then southwest in a straight line to the intersection of latitude 8A 28' and longitude 123C 15';
- then due south to the intersection of latitude 8A 25';
- then southwest in a straight line to the intersection of latitude 8A 17 and longitude 123A 10a;
- then due north until it intersects Dohinob Daku River, which is the Manukan-Katipunan municipal boundary;
- then following Dohinob Daku River downstream until reaching the mouth of said river;
- then following the shoreline until reaching the mouth of Minang Creek, the point of beginning.
- Section 2 states that the point of beginning is the mouth of Minang Creek.
Corporate existence and elections
- Section 3 provides that the Municipality of President Manuel A. Roxas acquires corporate existence upon the election and qualification of the first mayor, vice-mayor and councilors.
- Section 3 requires that the first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors be elected in the next general elections for local officials after the Act’s creation.
- Section 3 directs that, for election purposes, the municipal officials of the mother municipality tasked with election duties under the Revised Election Code shall hold office until the first officials have been elected and qualified.
Effectivity and approval
- Section 4 states that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
- The Act was enacted without Executive approval on June 17, 1967.
