Retention of Legislative Districts in Zamboanga del Sur

The Province of Zamboanga del Sur retains two legislative districts as before:
- District I includes Pagadian City and the municipalities of Labangan, Tukuran, Aurora, Molave, Mahayag, Dumingag, Sominot, Midsalip, Ramon Magsaysay, Tambulig, and Josefina.
- District II includes Bayog, Lakewood, Kumalarang, Tigbao, Dumalinao, Guipos, San Miguel, Lapuyan, Margosatubig, Dinas, San Pablo, Tabina, Dimataling, Vincenzo Sagun, and Pitogo.

Repeal or Modification of Inconsistent Laws

Any existing laws, executive orders, regulations, or parts thereof that conflict with the provisions of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly to conform with the changes introduced.

Effectivity

The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines.

Legislative and Executive Approval

The Act was passed by the House of Representatives on November 15, 2005, and by the Senate on September 4, 2006.
It was approved by the President of the Philippines on October 26, 2006.
