Formation of METROCOM-Rizal Police Highway Patrol
- A special mobile force organized under PC Metropolitan Command.
- Composed of PC vehicles and police cars contributed by cities, municipalities, and the Province of Rizal.
- Manned by assigned PC officers and regular crew members of the vehicles.
- Operates without regard to city or municipal boundaries within the Greater Manila area.
Cooperation and Support from Local Government Units
- City and Municipal Mayors obligated to support PC Metropolitan Command.
- Required to implement measures to fulfill the purposes of the Executive Order.
- Police Commission mandated to ensure Chiefs of Police exert maximum effort and assist the PC Metropolitan Command.
Legal Authority and Implementation
- Issued by the President of the Philippines, utilizing powers vested by law.
- Effective immediately upon issuance on July 14, 1967.
