Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, must include the operationalization of these five (5) additional branches in the court’s program immediately.
- Funding for these courts must be provided through the annual General Appropriations Act.
- Funds for operation will only be appropriated and released upon the actual organization of these courts and the appointment of their personnel.
Amendment to the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980
- Section 27 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, known as The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as amended, is specifically amended to reflect the creation of the new courts.
- Any laws, rules, or regulations inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication either in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
