An Act Creating Five (5) Additional Metropolitan Trial Court Branches in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, and Amending Section 27 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, Otherwise Known as the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as Amended, and Appropriating Funds Therefor.

Five (5) additional Metropolitan Trial Court branches are created under RA 10251.

The newly created Metropolitan Trial Court branches are to be seated in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.

The Supreme Court has the authority to assign the branch numbers of the newly created Metropolitan Trial Court branches.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, is responsible for including the operationalization of the new courts in the Court's program.

Funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of their personnel.

Section 27 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980, as amended, is amended by RA 10251.

All laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA 10251 are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.

RA 10251 took effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.

Benigno S. Aquino III signed and approved Republic Act No. 10251 as President of the Philippines.
