Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, is responsible for the immediate inclusion of these new courts in the operational program of the judiciary.
- Funding for the operation of these courts will be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and appointment of their personnel.
Amendments to Existing Laws
- Amends Section 14(e) and Section 30 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980," to accommodate the creation of the new court branches.
- Repeals or modifies any other laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
Legislative and Executive Approval
- Passed by the House of Representatives and Senate with noted dates of approval and concurrence.
- Approved by the President of the Philippines, finalizing the enactment into law.
