Supreme Court assignment of branch numbers
- Section 2 directs the Supreme Court to assign the branch numbers of the newly created RTC branches.
- Section 2 requires the branch-number assignment to be done for the RTC branches located in the National Capital Judicial Region and stationed in Parañaque City, Metro Manila.
Operationalization and funding conditions
- Section 3 requires the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, to immediately include the operationalization of the three (3) additional RTC branches in the Court’s program.
- Section 3 mandates that the funding for the operationalization of the new branches be included in the Annual General Appropriations Act.
- Section 3 provides that funds for the operation of the courts created by the Act shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of its personnel.
Amendments to Batas Pambansa Blg. 129
- Section 4 amends Section 14(d), paragraph (d) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as “The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980”, as amended.
- Section 4 repeals or modifies all other laws, executive orders, and rules and regulations that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 10713.
- Section 4 makes Republic Act No. 10713 the controlling rule for matters inconsistent with its provisions.
Effectivity by publication
- Republic Act No. 10713 takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
