  • Staffing and compensation are determined per Presidential Decrees Nos. 1177 and 985 and other relevant budget and compensation laws.

Funding and Financial Provisions

  • An initial allocation of P210,000 was provided for the operationalization of the Chancellor’s Office in 1980.
  • The funds come from uncommitted National Government funds authorized for new government organizational units.
  • Ongoing funding starting 1981 shall be sourced from Batas Pambansa Blg. 80.

Effectivity

  • The Executive Order takes immediate effect upon issuance on October 30, 1980, ensuring prompt operationalization and administration of the U.P. in the Visayas.
