Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records

  • All existing personnel assigned to the Bantay Extension are transferred to and absorbed by the new Bantay National High School.
  • All assets and liabilities associated with the Bantay Extension are likewise transferred to the independent school.
  • Official records of the Bantay Extension are also to be transferred to the Bantay National High School.

Funding and Operationalization

  • The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately include the operationalization of Bantay National High School in the Department of Education's program.
  • Initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations for the Bantay Extension.
  • Future funding needs must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act to ensure continued operation.

Rules and Regulations Formulation

  • The Secretary of Education has 120 days from the approval of this Act to formulate the implementing rules and regulations.
  • These rules and regulations shall govern the effective application and administration of the school’s new independent status.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
  • Publication must be in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation to fulfill legal effectivity requirements.
