Separation and conversion of the school
- Section 1 separates the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension in Barangay Sanghay, Mati City, Province of Davao Oriental from the Libudon National High School.
- Section 1 converts the separated extension into an independent national high school known as Sanghay National High School.
Transfer of personnel, assets, liabilities, and records
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs all personnel of the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension to Sanghay National High School.
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs all assets of the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension to Sanghay National High School.
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs all liabilities of the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension to Sanghay National High School.
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs all records of the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension to Sanghay National High School.
Operationalization and appropriations
- Section 3 requires the Secretary of Education to immediately include in the Department’s program the operationalization of the Sanghay National High School.
- Section 3 provides that the initial funding for operationalization shall be charged against the current year’s appropriation of the Libudon National High School - Sanghay Extension.
- Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementing rules and timeline
- Section 4 directs the Secretary of Education to formulate the rules and regulations implementing Republic Act No. 11657.
- Section 4 requires the rules and regulations to be formulated within sixty (60) days after the approval of the Act.
