  • The DOH Secretary shall determine additional new positions after consulting with the Hospital Chief.
  • Coordination with the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission is required for this process.

Funding and Implementation

  • The DOH Secretary shall include the implementation of this Act in the Department's program.
  • Funding for the hospital’s upgrade and operation shall be incorporated in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Repeal and Amendment of Conflicting Laws

  • All laws, decrees, executive orders, or presidential issuances inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
