Upgrading of Facilities and Health Care Services
- The hospital's existing facilities and professional health care services are upgraded to match the increased bed capacity.
- The Department of Health (DOH), in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC), is tasked to determine the number and nature of additional medical personnel positions to be created as a result of the upgrade.
Funding and Support
- The Provincial Government of Maguindanao is mandated to continue providing funding for the operation and maintenance of the hospital.
- The Secretary of Health is instructed to include the Datu Odin Sinsuat District Hospital in the Department of Health’s subsidy program specifically to support capital outlay requirements.
Severability Clause
- If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, orders, issuances, rules, and regulations, or parts thereof that are inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity Clause
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
