Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel currently assigned to the Curry National High School - Bagong Sirang Annex are transferred to the newly created Bagong Sirang National High School.
- All assets, including properties and facilities, belonging to the annex, are likewise transferred.
- All liabilities and obligations of the annex shall also be assumed by Bagong Sirang National High School.
- The records of the annex are transferred to and maintained by the new independent school.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately include the operationalization of Bagong Sirang National High School in the Department of Education's program.
- Initial funding for the new school’s operations shall be drawn from the current year’s appropriations previously allocated for the Curry National High School - Bagong Sirang Annex.
- For subsequent years, the necessary funds for the school's continued operation shall be provided through the General Appropriations Act.
Implementation and Regulatory Authority
- The Secretary of Education is empowered to issue the necessary rules and regulations to effectively implement the provisions of the Act.
- These rules and regulations will ensure compliance and proper transition from annex to independent status.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- This provision ensures the law’s directives become enforceable within a short time frame from official announcement.
