The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10212 is to separate the Curry National High School Bagong Sirang Annex in Barangay Bagong Sirang, Municipality of Pili, Province of Camarines Sur from the Curry National High School and convert it into an independent national high school to be known as Bagong Sirang National High School.

All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Curry National High School Bagong Sirang Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Bagong Sirang National High School.

The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Curry National High School Bagong Sirang Annex.
The necessary funds for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Education is authorized to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
This Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
The new name of the independent national high school is Bagong Sirang National High School.
