Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel currently assigned to the CHS Annex are transferred to the new Caloocan City Science High School.
- All assets and liabilities previously connected to the CHS Annex are absorbed by the newly created independent science high school.
- All official records pertaining to the CHS Annex are transferred to the new institution.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately include the operationalization of the Caloocan City Science High School in the Department of Education’s program.
- Initial funding for the new school’s operations shall come from the existing appropriations allocated for the Caloocan City Science High School - CHS Annex for the current fiscal year.
- Subsequent funding requirements for the continued operation of the school must be incorporated in the annual General Appropriations Act, ensuring sustained financial support.
Implementation and Regulatory Authority
- The Secretary of Education is empowered to issue necessary rules and regulations to effectively implement and enforce the provisions of this Act.
- Such rules and regulations are intended to facilitate the smooth transition and functional establishment of the independent science high school.
Effectivity and Publication
- This Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- This period ensures that the public is duly informed about the new legal status and operational changes regarding the school.
Legislative and Executive Approval
- The Act was approved by the Senate and House of Representatives with respective dates of final passage noted.
- It was signed into law by the President of the Philippines, confirming its legal validity and enforceability.
