The Iloilo National College of Agriculture in Lambunao, Iloilo, is integrated into the new West Visayas State University, expanding its academic scope and resources.

Governance Structure

The University shall be governed by a Board of Regents in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1437.
The Board includes the presidents of the faculty organization and the alumni association as members.

Continuity of Leadership

The incumbent President of the West Visayas State College continues as the President of the University until the end of her term as provided by PD No. 1437.

Academic Programs and Courses

The University continues to offer existing university-level courses.
The Board is authorized to approve additional courses as they see fit.

Powers, Rights, and Responsibilities

The University inherits and exercises the same powers, rights, privileges, obligations, and responsibilities as previously prescribed for WVSC and Iloilo National College of Agriculture.
This includes compliance with PD No. 1437 and other relevant laws unless specifically repealed or amended.

Transfer of Assets and Obligations

All funds, records, properties, assets, and obligations of WVSC and Iloilo National College of Agriculture are transferred to the new University.

Staffing and Employment

The Board shall adopt a staffing pattern with approval from the Minister of Budget and Management.
No current officer or employee is to be separated from service except for just cause.
Officers or employees may be reassigned to other positions within the University with the same compensation and privileges.

Repeal of Inconsistent Laws

All existing laws inconsistent with this Decree are repealed or amended to conform with its provisions.
