Conversion of Lanao Agricultural High School to College

Section 1 converts the Lanao National Agricultural High School located in the Municipality of Lumbatan, Province of Lanao del Sur into an agricultural college.
Section 1 establishes that the converted institution shall be known as the Lanao Agricultural College.
Section 1 directs the legal transformation of the school from a high school level institution into a college level institution.

Section 2 authorizes the appropriation of three hundred fifty thousand pesos for the college’s operation and maintenance.
Section 2 states that the appropriation shall come out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
Section 2 limits the initial appropriation to the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four.
Section 2 requires that after fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four, the sums needed for operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

Section 3 makes the conversion and appropriation authorization effective upon approval of the Act.
The Act’s operative effect begins immediately after approval because it takes effect upon its approval.
The Act’s implementation consists of (1) institutional conversion under Section 1 and (2) funding authorization under Section 2 for fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four, followed by annual inclusion in General Appropriation Acts.
