Academic Offerings and Curriculum
- The Cauayan Polytechnic College shall continue to offer the existing curricular programs.
- It will expand to offer undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Fields of study include education, agriculture, forestry, engineering, arts and sciences.
- It may also provide non-degree technical-industrial courses and other degree courses deemed necessary.
- All programs must adhere to the policies and standards set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Governance and Supervision
- The head of the college shall hold the position of vocational college superintendent.
- The institution will be under the administrative and supervisory jurisdiction of CHED.
Implementation Responsibilities
- The Chairperson of CHED is mandated to undertake all necessary actions for the conversion of the school into a college.
- The CHED Chairperson is also responsible for ensuring the effective operation and implementation of the Act.
Transfer of Resources and Personnel
- All personnel currently serving at Cauayan Rural High School are transferred to the Cauayan Polytechnic College.
- Records, assets, and liabilities of the high school are also transferred and absorbed by the college.
Supersession of Inconsistent Laws
- Any laws, decrees, orders, rules, regulations, or other issuances or parts thereof that conflict with this Act are repealed or modified to be consistent with this law.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette.
- This publication requirement serves to inform the public and ensure legal effectivity.
