Labeling Requirements and Submission

All milk companies are required to submit their new product labels to the Product Services Division (PSD) of the Department of Health (DOH).
The deadline for submission was set on or before January 15, 2008, with no extensions allowed.
New labels must incorporate the necessary warnings as specified in Rule VII of the RIRR.

Prohibition of Old Labels

Starting March 2008, the use of old labels that do not comply with the prescribed warnings and requirements is prohibited.
Only new, compliant labels shall be permitted in the market from that date onwards.

Enforcement and Sanctions

Labels that do not comply with the mandatory provisions shall not be allowed for use.
Violations shall be subject to legal and administrative sanctions.
Sanctions may include the recall of violative products and suspension or revocation of the Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).
