Territorial Boundaries and Description
- Barangay Landoc's boundaries are officially delineated:
- Northeast: adjacent to proposed Barangay San Antonio.
- Southeast: along Barangay Pugo (current) and Barangay San Roque (former boundary).
- At point 1: touches Barangay Amambangan.
- Southwest: along Barangay Tawin-Tawin.
- Northwest: along Barangay Inerangan.
- The size of the new barangay is precisely 76.0134 hectares.
- Geographic points marking boundaries are clearly identified by survey monuments.
- The boundary description uses bearings and distances grounded in surveyed reference points.
Ratification and Plebiscite
- Plebiscite to be held within ninety (90) days from the approval of this Act.
- Voting is limited to the affected areas to affirm the creation of the new barangay.
- Majority vote is required for ratification.
Appointment of Initial Officials
- Following ratification, the President will appoint the first set of officials for Barangay Landoc.
- These officials will serve until successors are duly elected and qualified.
Administrative Procedures and Funding
- The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is mandated to conduct and supervise the plebiscite.
- Expenses for the plebiscite will be charged to local government funds.
Effectivity of the Law
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval by the designated authorities.
