A plebiscite must be conducted within ninety days from the approval of the Act, and a majority of votes cast in favor must ratify the creation of Barangay Landoc.
The President of the Philippines shall appoint the first officials of the new barangay after ratification of the plebiscite.
The first officials shall hold office until their successors are duly elected and qualified.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is tasked with conducting and supervising the plebiscite.
The expenses for the plebiscite shall be charged to local funds.
The Act took effect upon its approval on November 14, 1982.
