    • Tertiary Category: At least 60 square meters with a sink and a dedicated Microbiology room

Pathologist Area Configuration

  • The pathologist area may be located within the clinical work area or can be a separate designated space.

Patient Toilet Facilities

  • A toilet accessible to patients must be available.
  • The toilet may be adjacent to, near, or located within the laboratory premises.

Implementation and Authority

  • These clarifications are pursuant to Administrative Order No. 59, s. 2001.
  • The clarifications take effect immediately upon issuance.
