Specific Tariff Rate Adjustments for Imported Mineral and Glass Fiber Products

Price Regulation and Review Mechanism
- Any unjustified increase in prices of locally produced fiberglass insulating materials benefiting from these tariff protections is a ground for tariff modification.
- The Board of Investments (BOI) is tasked with monitoring local product prices.
- The BOI shall represent to the Tariff Commission for appropriate tariff adjustments according to Section 401 of the Tariff and Customs Code if price manipulation or concerns arise.
Repeal of Inconsistent Orders and Regulations
- All prior orders, rules, and regulations, or their parts, inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are repealed.
Implementation and Authority
- The order takes effect as stated with tariff changes beginning on January 1, 1983.
- The issuance and enforcement of this order are under the authority of the President of the Philippines and pursuant to the powers granted under Presidential Decree No. 1789 (Omnibus Investment Code).
