Supervision, rules, and implementation period
- Section 2 directs the Chairman of TESDA to issue the necessary rules and regulations for effective implementation of the Act.
- Section 2 requires issuance of those rules and regulations within ninety (90) days after the Act’s effectivity.
- Section 2 provides that violation of the 90-day rule renders the concerned official/s liable under Republic Act No. 6713 (the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees) and other existing administrative and/or criminal laws.
Appropriations and funding for operations
- Section 3 requires that the amount necessary to carry out the Act be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following the Act’s enactment into law.
- Section 3 requires that, thereafter, sums necessary for the school’s operation and maintenance be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Effectivity and commencement
- Section 4 provides that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
- The Act was approved on December 11, 1994.
