Waiver of TVET Program Registration Fee
- A significant incentive was proposed and approved to encourage participation in LEP: the waiver of the non-refundable Two Thousand Pesos (Php2,000.00) TVET Program Registration Fee per qualification under UTPRAS.
- This waiver applies specifically to all public and private TVET and Higher Education Institutions participating in the LEP.
- The waiver was ratified during the TESDA Board meeting on December 19, 2007.
Coverage and Effectivity of the Waiver
- The waiver applies to all TVET programs registered from the date of effectivity of the resolution up to a period of one (1) year.
- After the one-year waiver period, the standard Php2,000.00 Program Registration Fee per qualification will be reinstated.
Implementation and Dissemination
- The resolution mandates the publication and dissemination of the waiver to all concerned institutions to ensure full awareness and compliance.
- The resolution takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
Authority and Endorsement
- The waiver was recommended during the Special Support to TVET Provision TESDA Board-TESDA Secretariat Consultation Meeting on November 28, 2007.
- The resolution was signed and attested by the TESDA Board Secretary and the Director-General of TESDA, ensuring official enactment and enforcement.
