New Isabela Legislative Districts
- Section 1 reapportions Isabela into six (6) legislative districts beginning with the next elections after effectivity.
- The FIRST LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Iligan City; Cabagan; Delfin Albano; Divilacan; Maconacon; Tumauini; San Pablo; Sta. Maria; Sto. Tomas (Section 1(a)).
- The SECOND LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Benito Soliven; Palanan; Naguilian; Reina Mercedes; San Mariano; Gamu (Section 1(b)).
- The THIRD LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Alicia; Cabatuan; San Mateo; Ramon; Angadanan (Section 1(c)).
- The FOURTH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Santiago City; Cordon; Dinapigue; San Agustin; Jones (Section 1(d)).
- The FIFTH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Aurora; Burgos; Luna; Mallig; Quezon; Quirino; Roxas; San Manuel (Section 1(e)).
- The SIXTH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT consists of: Cauayan City; Echague; San Guillermo; San Isidro (Section 1(f)).
Continuation of Incumbent Representatives
- Section 2 requires that the incumbent Representatives of Isabela continue to represent their respective legislative districts.
- Incumbent Representatives continue until the new Representatives are duly elected and qualified (Section 2).
Implementation by the Commission on Elections
- Section 3 directs the Commission on Elections to issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement the Act.
- The Commission on Elections must issue these rules and regulations within thirty (30) days upon the effectivity of Republic Act No. 11080 (Section 3).
Effectivity and Publication Rule
- Section 5 provides that Republic Act No. 11080 takes effect fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette or in any newspaper of general circulation.
- Section 5 makes publication the controlling event for the start of the 15-day effectivity period (Section 5).
Repeal of Inconsistent Laws and Regulations
- Section 4 repeals, amends, or modifies all laws, rules, and regulations that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 11080 (Section 4).
