Reapportionment of Aklan into two districts
- Section 1 reapportions the Province of Aklan into two (2) legislative districts.
- The First Legislative District consists of the municipalities: Altavas, Balete, Banga, Batan, Kalibo, New Washington, Libacao, and Madalag (Section 1).
- The Second Legislative District consists of the municipalities: Buruanga, Ibajay, Lezo, Makato, Malay, Malinao, Nabas, Numancis, and Tangalan (Section 1).
- The districts are to take effect for electoral purposes in the next national and local elections following the Act’s effectivity (Section 1).
Incumbent representative continuity
- The incumbent Representative of the former Lone Legislative District of the Province of Aklan continues to represent the district until the new Representatives are duly elected and qualified (Section 2).
Commission on Elections implementation rules
- The Commission on Elections shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement Republic Act No. 11077 (Section 3).
- The Commission on Elections must issue these rules and regulations within thirty (30) days upon the effectivity of the Act (Section 3).
Repeal and amendment of inconsistent laws
- Section 4 repeals, amends, or modifies all laws, rules and regulations that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 11077.
