Republic Act No. 11077 is an Act reapportioning the Province of Aklan into two (2) legislative districts.

The Act took effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in any newspaper of general circulation, specifically after September 24, 2018.

The Province of Aklan was reapportioned into two (2) legislative districts.

The First Legislative District consists of Altavas, Balete, Banga, Batan, Kalibo, New Washington, Libacao, and Madalag.

The Second Legislative District consists of Buruanga, Ibajay, Lezo, Makato, Malay, Malinao, Nabas, Numancia, and Tangalan.

The reapportionment shall commence in the next national and local elections after the effectivity of the Act.

The incumbent Representative of the Lone Legislative District of the Province of Aklan shall continue to represent the entire province until new Representatives have been duly elected and qualified.

All laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with RA 11077 are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

The Act was approved by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on September 24, 2018.
