Reapportionment of Caloocan's 1st District

Section 1 reapportions the First Legislative District of the City of Caloocan into two (2) legislative districts.
The two districts created for electoral purposes are designated as the First Legislative District and the Third Legislative District.
The reapportionment applies starting with the 2022 national and local elections.
The First Legislative District is composed of Barangays 1, 2, 3, 4, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, and 177.
The Third Legislative District is composed of Barangays 178, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, 184, 185, 186, 187, and 188.

Section 2 directs the Commission on Elections to issue the necessary implementing rules and regulations.
Section 2 requires COMELEC to issue those implementing rules within thirty (30) days after the effectivity of the Act.

Section 3 provides that all laws, rules and regulations inconsistent with Republic Act No. 11545 are repealed or amended accordingly.
