Reconstitution and Territorial Definition of Bacoor
- Bacoor municipality is restored to its original territorial boundaries prior to Act No. 947.
- This reconstitution officially revives Bacoor as an independent municipality separate from Imus.
Conduct of Municipal Elections for Bacoor
- Municipal elections for Bacoor shall be held during the next regular elections in Cavite Province.
- Elections follow procedures outlined in Act No. 730, as amended by Act No. 928.
- Elected officials will assume office starting the first Monday in January following the elections.
- The municipality of Imus will continue regular elections unaffected unless the change alters its municipal class.
- If the municipal class of Imus changes due to this Act, the election of councilors shall conform to Act No. 1433 provisions.
Expedited Legislative Process
- The passage of this Act is expedited pursuant to the procedure set forth in the 1900 Act prescribing legislative order.
- The public interest necessitates the prompt enactment of this legislation.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its passage on October 25, 1906.
