Academic Programs and Mandate
- The campus shall offer short-term, technical-vocational, undergraduate, and graduate courses.
- Course offerings must align with areas of competency, specialization, and the needs of the Province of Nueva Ecija and Region III.
- The campus is mandated to conduct research and extension services.
- It also holds responsibility for providing progressive leadership in academic and research domains.
Administration
- The campus will be headed by Campus Administrators who shall render full-time services.
- Administrators are appointed by the NEUST Board of Regents upon a search committee's recommendation and the University President.
- Appointment guidelines are subject to qualifications and standards prescribed by the Board.
Transfer and Ownership of Assets
- All assets, personnel, records, liabilities, and obligations of the NEUST-Nampicuan Campus are transferred to the University.
- Faculty and personnel employed prior to integration retain their positions, rights, and security of tenure.
- Government lands occupied by the campus are declared University property and shall be titled under its name.
- Should the University cease to exist or no longer need the land, ownership reverts to the local government unit or the Republic of the Philippines.
Governing Charter and Applicable Laws
- Republic Act No. 8292 (Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997) is incorporated as part of this Act and serves as part of the University's governing charter.
- All existing powers, functions, privileges, responsibilities, and limitations applicable to state universities and officials are extended to the NEUST-Nampicuan Campus and its officials where appropriate.
Appropriation of Funds
- Funding necessary for the implementation of the Act will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Separability Clause
- If any provision of this Act is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, and regulations inconsistent or contrary to this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
