Special Nonworking Holiday in Ifugao

The Provincial Government of Ifugao is tasked with leading commemorative activities.
Coordination is required with the municipal government of Kiangan, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), and the Military Shrines Service (MSS).
Activities must be meaningful and appropriate to honor the heroes and heroines who contributed to the liberation of the Philippines from Japanese forces.
Participation is encouraged from officials and employees of national, provincial, and municipal agencies, as well as civic, religious, nongovernment, business, and civil society organizations.

The Act will take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
