Expansion of Curriculum and Offerings
- The newly converted Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School will retain its existing secondary education programs.
- It will add technical and special instruction courses aimed at special purposes.
- The curriculum shall include courses in agriculture and technology.
- Short-term technical and vocational courses will also be provided.
- All programs are subject to the policies of the Bureau of Vocational and Technical Courses under the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS).
Administration and Implementation
- The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with taking the necessary measures for the immediate conversion and operation of the school.
Funding and Appropriations
- Initial funding for the implementation of this conversion shall come from the existing appropriations allocated to Mansilingan National High School under the current General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent funding requirements for the operation of the Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School shall be included in future annual General Appropriations Acts.
Effectivity
- The Act took effect upon its approval.
- It lapsed into law on June 25, 1998, without the President's signature, as provided by the Constitution (Article VI, Section 27(1)).
