Amendment to EO 124: Section 28
- Section 1 amends Section 28 of Executive Order No. 124 on abolition and transfers.
- Section 28(a) abolishes the Pasig River Development Council and transfers its flood control functions to the pertinent Bureau, Services, and Regional Office of the Department.
- Section 28(b) abolishes the Rural Waterworks Development Corporation and transfers its functions and assets to the Local Water Utilities Administration in accordance with Sections 29 to 31.
- The portion under Section 28(c) provides that the National Water Resources Council is renamed and reorganized as the National Water Resources Board, and it continues to be attached to the Department.
- The proviso under Section 28(c) transfers all technical functions to the Bureau of Research and Standards and other offices as deemed appropriate by the Secretary.
Amendment to EO 124: Section 29
- Section 2 amends Section 29 of Executive Order No. 124.
- Section 2 deletes subsection (a) of Section 29.
- Section 2 retitles and renumbers subsections (b), (c), and (d) of Section 29 as subsections (a), (b), and (c), respectively.
