  • Total enlisted personnel per grade subject to Presidential directive.
  • Reserve enlisted men receive same grades and pay but no pay or allowance while inactive.
  • Reservists receive pay and allowances during emergencies or mobilizations as prescribed by the President.

Pay for Trainees

  • Trainees receive monthly base pay of P10 plus meals, barracks, medical services, clothing, and transportation.
  • Clothing allowance for trainees of no less than P75 prescribed by the Secretary of National Defense.
  • Additional P5 per month beyond ten months of service granted, except for extensions due to misconduct or unauthorized absences.

Appropriations for Increased Pay and Allowances

  • Appropriates P3,600,000 from the National Treasury for payment of increased pay and allowances.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
