Salary Ranges and Civil Service Eligibilities

  • Established minimum and maximum salary ranges according to civil service eligibility grades:
    • First Grade: Minimum salary of PHP 2,400 with no upper limit.
    • Second Grade: Salary range from PHP 1,800 to PHP 5,100.
    • Third Grade: Salary range from PHP 1,440 to PHP 3,720.
    • Senior Stenographer: Minimum salary of PHP 2,400 with no upper limit.
    • Junior Stenographer: Salary range from PHP 1,800 to PHP 5,100.
    • Senior Typist: Salary range from PHP 2,400 to PHP 4,800.
    • Junior Typist: Salary range from PHP 1,560 to PHP 3,600.

Organizational Placement and Future Transfer

  • The Wage and Position Classification Office shall eventually be transferred to the Civil Service Commission.
  • This transfer is contingent upon the full implementation of the classification and pay plans.
  • The transfer will be effected by an executive order from the President.

Repeal of Inconsistent Laws and Provisions

  • Any existing laws, executive orders, administrative orders, rules, regulations, or parts thereof that conflict with this Act are repealed.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
