Change from "Permit to Import" to "Plant Quarantine Clearance"
- The term "Permit to Import" previously used in BPI Quarantine Administrative Order No. 1, series of 1981, is clarified and redefined to mean "phytosanitary clearance."
- All references to "Permit to Import" in this order and related prior orders are amended to read "Plant Quarantine Clearance."
- The official document issued by the BPI formerly called a "Permit to Import" shall be renamed and issued as a "Plant Quarantine Clearance."
Supersession and Revocation of Inconsistent Orders
- Any previous orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this amendment are superseded or revoked.
Effectivity
- This Administrative Order will take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
- Adopted on August 22, 2005, and signed by the Secretary of Agriculture, Domingo F. Panganiban.
